"Do MICA buildings speak?" and such deliberations started her life-long-love-affair with the art of decoding and building brands at India's first-of-its-kind advertising, brand-building school, Mudra Institute of Communication, Ahmedabad (MICA)

Ruchira started her career servicing Unilever. Her first study on beauty led to the creation of the Lakme Beauty Salon business as Indian women spent much higher on self-care services vs make-up products.

A 2-year stint in the US managing global cross-cultural work for technology majors Intel, and Microsoft provided her rich exposure to research toolkits & global best-practices.

As Director Insights at Pepsico, Ruchira has experience of over a decade in defining marketing consumer strategy and insights for Pepsico's local lovemarks such as Kurkure; Nimbooz as also global brands Lays, Pepsi, Tropicana, Quaker across business units in South Asia, APAC and Global Insights; with many note worthy brand-campaigns such as "Change the Game", and innovations like Kurkure Puffed

Before starting Elevate Insights, Ruchira was VP, Consumer Insights at Swiggy. She started Elevate Insights due to her passionate belief in the immense power of consumer insights in shaping business and brand strategy especially at the early stage of scaling-up
